Thundersport GB 600 Elite Snetterton Rnd 1 Race Report
So we left Oulton Park after the No Limits Racing, heading to Snetterton, we arrived late Saturday night ready for the qualifying on Sunday morning. Only had 3 clear laps to put a good time in before hitting traffic, managed to get P3, this was the first time riding the Snettterton 200 track on the 636.
On the grid all ready to go for Race 1 & it started to rain hard, so the race was delayed, we came back to the pits to change tyres as it was then declared a wet race, I came in P2 which wasn’t too bad considering my suspension was really hard for the wet conditions, as we had not had time to change over to wet settings
The 2nd race on Monday, we were about 6 laps into the race and the heavens opened as I was battling for the lead, but once again my suspension was a little too hard to find good grip and I came in P3.
In the last race, I lead most of the way, but Arnie passed me for the lead on Lap 9, it’s hard to know how hard to push in tricky conditions, but on the last lap I reeled him back in to make the move on the last corner & got over the line 0.020 in front, but it was too close to call for Thundersport so it was a joint win in the end, I got the fastest lap in this race on that penultimate lap.

The weather served us well as we found a good set up in the end in the wet for BSB, ready for a day off then back to it for 2 days testing on the big track on Wed/Thursday.
