Race Report - NLR Final Round - Donington Park So this weekend was the final round of the NLR Championships at Donington Park No Limits Racing NLR Headed into this weekend with a chance of winning the 600 Super Series & the Endurance Championships along with Dan Brooks Daniel Brooks Racing, but needed to get good results in both. The weather conditions on Saturday were cloudy & breezy but it remained dry. I got off to a decent start, I was happy & I put myself on the front row in the 600 qualifying session, we then made some changes to the bike to give me a better feel Qual : P2 1:25.785 (+0.143) Race 1 on Saturday went really well, battling with James & taking the lead from lap 3 putting the fastest laps in from 2 to 7 & coming home in P1 Race 1 - P1 9:14.601 FL - 1:17.279 I then had the Endurance race to come on Saturday afternoon with Dan & JR Performance, we were in a good position to win the Championship going into this race We led for 32 laps & came home P2 in our class & 5th overall, this was enough to seal the Championship in tricky conditions from GBmoto Endurance who came home P1 in the class in this race Endurance - P2 in class 106 Laps 3:301:33.319 (+2 Laps) FL - 1:13.024 (lap 97) Championship Winners So all in all, Saturday turned out really good coming away with the Endurance Championship & a real good start to the weekend. The first race on Sunday was at 9.50 & the weather was much better, sunny & less wind Got off to a good start & led the whole race coming home in P1 Race 2 - P1 9:40.129 FL - 1:11.371 Race 2 of the day was at 12.10, Hutchy & David Shoubridge battling it out in front of me, David came off at Craners & so I came home in P2, which meant I had got the Championship as my rival James also had a DNF in this race. Race 3 - P2 12:36.855 (+3.214) The 3rd & last race of the day was a battle all the way to the finish with Hutchy, I started from P3 leading for 4 laps, unfortunately I got tangled up by a back marker which cost me a lot of time, but came home in P2 so was pleased & overall had a fabulous weekend, picking up 2 Championships & we are not sure if anyone of 16 years has ever won this Championship before?
