Race Report - NLR Rd 2- Oulton Park
We were over at Oulton Park Fri/Sat for Round 2 of the No Limits Racing in the Pirelli Super Series 600 Championship.
Was a tricky round, starting off with Friday being wet for the qualifying, managed to get on the front row which is where I wanted to be to give myself the best chance for the first race on Saturday.
Saturday, the weather was dry/cloudy, I got a good start, Harry left us off the line, but I managed to defend my position from James for all 12 laps bringing it home in a solid P2.
The last race of the day, was a battle with James, for 2nd again, as Harry had a clear lead the whole race, I was keeing it pinned in 2nd, however, I fell asleep mid race & James took advantage of this and passed me at Old Hall, this woke me up & I got the move back on him to take the win as Harry pulled in on the penultimate lap.
I was happy with my racing all in all, but not with my times. Really good weekend of racing and learning, we now go to Snetterton for Thundersport GB & the next BSB test next week, cant wait !!!
